Today’s content marketing win is MasterCard’s super smart #PricelessBaseball social campaign.
The premise is simple: the company is asking people in various cities to share their favorite postseason baseball memories on social media using the #PricelessBaseball tag. MasterCard then features a number of the posts on its social accounts, and also gives a few lucky fans free tickets to games.
The effort is part of the company’s wider Priceless Surprises campaign, and is an excellent example of how a brand can enter the social conversation around a big event in an effective way.
