Cisco presents an interesting marketing case study: its products and services are ubiquitous yet largely invisible.
To overcome this the company must constantly find fresh ways to make its technologies feel concrete and visible.
An excellent example of how Cisco approaches this challenge is its World’s Smartest Cities graphic novel, which was published over the summer. The online piece features five places in which a tech-savvy superhero (SuperSmart) is winning over a luddite villain (Dr. Analog). It’s smart, fun, and a great way to showcase the potential uses of Cisco products.
