Despite recent reports, Facebook is still American teens’ favorite social network, according to a recent report from the Pew Research Center.
The survey of 1,060 teens in the United States age 13-17 found 71% use Facebook. The next most popular social network is Instagram (52% use), followed by Snapchat (41%), Twitter (33%), and Google+ (33%).
Facebook also remains the most frequently visited network, with 41% of teens engaging with it most. Instagram is the next most frequented social network (20% say they visit it most often), followed by Snapchat (11%) and Twitter (6%).
