Marketers believe the Internet of things is the future trend that’ll have the biggest impact on their efforts by 2020, according to a recent report from Marketo and the Economist Intelligence Unit.

The survey, which was recently featured on MarketingCharts, found marketers also think real-time mobile transactions, wearable technology, and virtual/augmented reality will have a major impact in the future. 

Only 13% of marketers surveyed think a privacy backlash will impact them by the year 2020.
